Oppo F29 Pro 5G: Amazing in strength
The first thing you’ll notice: it has a premium look, but it’s built like the body of a tank. With an IP66/68/69 rating, MIL‑STD‑810H certification, and Oppo’s own “360° Armour Body,” this phone can handle splashes of water, dust, and even spilled milk.
Oppo claims that they have tested it in extreme heat, zero degrees, salt, humidity and all kinds of conditions. If you travel, like hiking or are a bit of a “butterfingers” type, then this phone is perfect for you.
Display & Design: Big, Bright & Bold
With a big 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits brightness, the F29 Pro’s display is fantastic. It even works with wet hands, gloves or a waterproof case, perfect for those monsoon selfies.
Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on top, so no need to worry if your phone drops.
Such a combination is rarely found in the range of ₹ 28-32 thousand. Oppo has left no stone unturned in making it stylish and strong.

Performance: Fast for every day
The phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chip, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. According to Oppo, its AnTuTu score is around 6.5 lakhs. Not a flagship, but good for daily tasks and casual gaming.
Real world performance has been described as good in reviews. Battery, charging and display were praised, while the camera turned out to be just average.
Simple: Perfect for everyday use, but if you’re a PUBG pro, think a little.
Battery and Charging: Absolutely powerful
The 6,000 mAh battery and 80 W SuperVOOC fast charging of this phone make it a charging champion. Oppo claims to charge up to 45% in 20 minutes even in cold weather.
Meaning? Long WhatsApp chats, Insta Reels or Netflix binging does not tire the phone. And even if you forget to charge it, then in the morning rush, the work can be done in just a few minutes.
Camera and AI features: Decent, but not great
There is a 50 MP OIS main camera + 2 MP depth sensor at the back. There is a 16 MP front camera at the front. It is fine on paper, but night photography and zoom are not that great.
AI features include ColorOS 15 and Android 15, with tools like AI Unblur, AI Eraser, etc. Great for photo editing, but not a game changer.
If you take regular photos, then everything is fine. But if you are crazy about low light or ultrawide shots, then the camera will seem a bit average.
What are Indian users saying?
The reviews on Flipkart and Amazon are positive: “great display,” “battery is amazing,” “quality feels great,” etc. are some of the comments.
But one user on Reddit angrily wrote:
“Very disappointed… tempered glass doesn’t stick properly… calls not coming… will never buy Oppo.”
That means some users have complaints regarding support or accessories.
